What is Daredevil Born Again?

Daredevil: Born Again begins several years after the events of Daredevil (2015–2018), and a year after blind lawyer Matt Murdock stopped his activities as the masked vigilante “Daredevil”. In the first season, Murdock continues his fight for justice as a lawyer while former crime boss Wilson Fisk runs for mayor of New York City, putting the pair on a collision course.

Charlie Cox reprises his role as Matt Murdock / Daredevil from Marvel’s Netflix television series and prior Marvel Studios productions, starring alongside Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and Michael Gandolfini. Margarita Levieva, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal also star in the first season.

is born again Faithful to the Original Show?

Without Giving away spoilers, it definitely is, it feels like a continuation not only by bringing in some of the recurring cast from the Netflix series but also just by the spirit of the show. Daredevil born Again Keeps the same Darkness and Grittiness from the original and does all of that while making it clear which universe they are in, we get references to the MCU that confirm what we already knew, but all of the references help make the world feel so much bigger then it did in the Netflix Universe.

Can I Watch DareDevil Born Again without having seen the Netflix Series?

When it comes to new Watchers it will definitely keep you engaged even if you aren’t too familiar with the character. Even though we have seen Matt Murdock appear in the MCU multiple times already, we haven’t had a show dive into his character as much as we did in the original series, and even though the original is amazing you can still be fully invested in the new series without having prior knowledge on the character since they do a good job filling in some information on the previous Seasons. Daredevil Born Again has tons of References and some characters from the original but they manage to make each of those moments so exciting you can enjoy it as a first time viewer. I do recommend eventually watching the Original show even if you choose to watch it after you watch born again considering it is one of the best MArvel Shows of all Time!
