What is Cobra Kai?
Cobra Kai is an American martial arts comedy drama television series created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, and distributed by Sony Pictures Television. It serves as a sequel to the original The Karate Kid films created by Robert Mark Kamen. The series stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, reprising their respective roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence from the film series, alongside Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Peyton List, Vanessa Rubio, and Dallas Dupree Young. Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith also reprise their roles from the films as part of the main cast, with many others returning in guest or recurring roles.
Synopsis
Thirty four years after events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso.
One Last Fight!
Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 is here! but this isn’t just an additional five episodes this is the final five episodes of the show. Going into this we all knew it was going to be interesting to see how they conclude so many character storylines. With only five episodes I was a little worried on how they would wrap up certain characters, the one character I was mostly worried about was John Kreese (Played by Martin Kove) and I’m not going to spoil anything but I will say after the years of Kreese being a menace, it’s difficult to say how everyone will feel about what they do with his character you’ll either love it or hate it but I personally enjoyed his arc. There are so many important characters in this show and I will say basically everyone gets some type of satisfying ending especially the kids, I was nervous but was very satisfied by the writing to finish of this season. We Left off the last part with Kwons Death, and you definitely feel the impact of that to start off this part. Everyone is coping with this in their own way and as dark as it sounds, kwons death was very important in order to push this story further one last time and it impacted so many characters in some type of way.
Are The Episodes Action Packed?
I will say although the first 2 episodes are exciting the action is most certainly not a priority since they have all of these storylines to wrap up in a timely manner, which they handle pretty well I might add. Once you get past the first 2 episodes, you are in for a treat, I personally believe that one of the best episodes in the entire series is in this batch of episodes which is very impressive considering how long this show has been out and how they are going out with such a bang. They managed to have me so excited maybe even more hyped then what we got in the part 2 finale which is clearly a high bar to reach. On top of the action we are gifted with we also get a lot a fun call backs throughout this part, not only of previous films but of events that happened earlier in the series. Training montages and highlights of previous fights are some of my favorite moments throughout part 3 due to us being able to relive some of the moments that made us fall in love with this show in the first place.
We all had that question on how the ending was gonna play out, and how cobra kai will be involved, we started with cobra kai and now are on team Miyagi, a lot has happened over the last few years and it’s been really cool to watch it all and even though we are in the final stretch and we have that question on whats gonna happen with the end of the Sekai Tekai, I will say it’s beyond exciting and totally worth the watch and of course Cobra Kai never dies!!
