   This episode felt so contrived and underwhelming I was relieved every time we went back to Iris and Joe because what was happening there made sense. They are constantly dumbing down Barry imo to give the other cast members something to do and it’s asinine especially at this point in his maturation with the speed force. I don’t want to talk about that dumb ass fight between Cisco, Caitlin and Barry. Now, how I see it Barry didn’t necessarily need to administer the cure cause he’s fought KS twice but never with one of his friends in danger and that’s what Cisco and Caitlin wasn’t seeing. And that’s choosing to see anything from their perspective in the sense that Barry didn’t immediately need to go for the cure. But forget that; they keep bringing up consent and I’m just like; didn’t after he asked if it really would work Lamden turned to them and said ” where do we begin?” that sounds awfully lot like consent. Barry wasn’t completely on this consent thing they agreed to; that’s what he was hesitating probably cause he was wondering what they thought he meant when he said he was going to “give” the cure to Cicada….yeah….we know it wasn’t asking which makes everything that just happened bullshhhhh and I’m usually not as harsh with the show. The middle back half thought always seem to struggle. My only prayer is they wrap this crap up with Cicada next week so we can get to Thawne and the radicals that pedestal Cicada in the first place that totally are going to get their hands on that cure. That nurse prob gone run for Gov and this is going to play somehow into the future. They need to lean in and focus on the heart of the show which unfortunately doesn’t involve as many characters that were onscreen tonight.
